​​The Hopkinton Girls Youth Lacrosse Organization is committed to offering the girls of our community a progressive and supportive sports program built on the foundation of fair play, honesty, integrity, and physical and emotional fitness.

Our pursuit of a values-based program is grounded in a self regulating, volunteer driven, and welcoming culture. Our purpose is to instill the values of hard work, team play, mastery of fundamentals, and the positive spirit of competition through an encouraging and fun experience for players, coaches and parents alike.

HGYL is dedicated  to organizing, developing and promoting the sport of lacrosse within the Hopkinton community to provide access and opportunity for all interested girls.

For our young players, HGYL wants to roll out and establish a stronger developmental program, rooted on a solid fundamental foundation that also provides us with the flexibility and scalability needed to support this growing program and sport.

We remain dedicated to providing a fun and age-appropriate competitive environment with the primary focus on the basics and fostering skill development, impactful instruction, coachable in-game moments, quality playing time, small sided play, team building and FUN! 

The smaller team rosters, playing fields, and coach-to-athlete ratios will allow every girl to receive increased playing time, quality touches, scoring, skill repetition, sportsmanship, and character-building opportunities - all of which strengthens their individual and team skill development while also boosting their self-esteem and fitness levels. 

We aim to cultivate the values of teamwork, confidence, respect, grit, fair play, and a lifelong love of lacrosse in every HGYL player - season after season - on & off the field.
